Adidas Shoe Boxes

Stadium Signs were asked by Elite Sports Properties to manufacture giant adidas shoe boxes to launch the newly renovated Bourke Street Mall store in Melbourne's CBD.

In the early hours of a cold Melbourne morning we set up giant shoe boxes around the city and adidas surprised unsuspecting passerbys with free left shoes. Their matching right shoe was found inside the new store. Where will they pop up next?

Leigh's big adventure

Leigh took part in the 5 day
Ingkerreke Commercial MTB Enduro at Alice Springs. This event
was run by Rapid Ascent and had over 220 elite competitors from both Australia and overseas.

The whole family was involved with Pamela, Natalie and Ashley volunteering as Course Marshalls, manning the water stops and generally helping out.

Leigh suffered a blown out front tyre on the 3rd day and a few tumbles on the night ride but came a credible 134th out of some of the world's best MTB riders. Congratulations Leigh - we will be back next year!

Renault F1 Team Day at Sandown Race Track

To celebrate the Australian Grand Prix and the launch of the new Clio Renault Sport 200 Cup, Renault invited over 400 guests to the "Renault F1 Team Day"at Sandown Race Track.
Thanks to the support of the Renault F1 Team and Renault Sport there was an exciting range of activities in an action packed afternoon.

Stadium Signs produced the look that Renault required for this important event. The branding consisted of wide format graphics installed to the interior of the pit garages where F1 cars were displayed and guests were entertained. The exteriors were decorated with 40m of mesh fabric displaying the Renault branding, with corlute branding on the stairways. Media backdrops were created for the staging with individual A boards produced for the collector's vehicle displays. Marquee signage and vehicle decals were also provided to complete the package.

The event was a huge success and Stadium Signs are proud to have played an intregal part in creating the atmosphere.

Fantastic building and window signage

Wow we are flat out - besides our ongoing committments to the MCG and Etihad we have been doing lots of building signage - must be something in the air!

Late last year we completed three large format window digital prints and building signage for The Rock Garage in Upper Ferntree Gully. These guys were fantastic to work with and have a terrific business - their store is chock a block with rock instruments and the guys really know what they are talking about.

Whatmough Audio asked us to redesign and produce their massive pole sign on Ferntree Gully Road - these are the people who manufacture the best audio systems in Australia and their home cinemas are second to none. Since we completed their new signage their business has increased tenfold - customers are asking them "when did you move here" in fact they have been in this location for years but with ineffective signage.

OMA Shop Fitters - another fabulous local company who work for major retailers both here and overseas, have moved location to Bayswater and wanted building signs that would be seen from a long way away - we produced simple but effective building signage that have done the trick.

Cricket Season 2009/2010

The end of 2009 was flat out for Stadium Signs. We wrapped up the AFL season and got stuck straight into the cricket at the MCG. As well as producing and installing all of the parapet and behind wicket signage, trivisions, sightscreens and corporate suite signage we also produced and installed the sponsored boundary rope. We worked right up to Christmas Eve for the Boxing Day Test and were back on the ground on New Years Eve. Not much rest over this busy period!

Stadium Signs were also responsible for producting and installing the stage backdrops and signage for the mock cricket match at Federation Square on Boxing Day as well as signage for the outfield at the MCG.

Other event signage included Werribee and Portsea Polo Days which were huge successes for our clients.

We look forward to a busy and exciting 2010 - bring it on

Spring Racing 2009

Wow what a fabulous Spring Racing Carnival - Stadium Signs provided marquee signage for Betfair Young Members Marquee at Caulfield Race Course - signage consisted of a 20 metre banner inside the marquee, and a 6 metre entrance banner. Bar signage was provided along with drinks and food menus.

The Dunkeld Cup was held on Saturday 14th November in the Southern Grampians. Betfair were major sponsors of the event and had a corporate marquee with a large number of invited guests. Stadium Signs provided on course and event signage for Betfair who had a corporate marquee with full bar and food service.

Stadium Signs are currently dressing the MCG for the Cricket season including behind wicket signage, sightscreens, trivisions, parapets, boundary ropes and corporate suites.

cheers for now
